How this story could’ve been better :
1. Just killing off either Hyunjae or Jung-Hoon but for the love of god, author-nim shouldn’t have let them be together in the end
2. Having the story be about a little love triangle between Hyunjae, Subin and Jung-hoon (I know they suck but bear with me) with Hyunjae having a weird obsession with Jung Hoon and them having an affair or whatever and we see Subin struggle with his feelings of jealousy. But then after Hyunjae betrays Jung-Hoon and he is heartbroken, he and Subin manage to escape (or in a Hyunjae refusing to kill Jung hoon) and while trying to have a good life Hyunjae reappears after having killed his dad and taking over their group but in the meantime, Subin has nursed Jung-Hoon’s broken heart and he falls for Subin and they get together. Then after an intense struggle, either Hyunjae dies or he gives up knowing he can never win Jung Hoon back (either way, we get him out of the picture)
Then Jung-hoon and Subin live happily ever after with some kids.
But this, this was just lazy (good art tho)
This could’ve been a very interesting story about notably survivor’s guilt that was addressed alongside Subin healthily, instead of just succumbing to sexual assault, drugs and something that is even worse than Stockholm syndrome
Ppl hate love triangles a lot but its quite interesting if done well. Lots of potential with triangles and a ton of heart wrenching moments can be squeezed out

I forget which one it was since it was so long ago but it had a love triangle of an uke and 2 seme and 1 seme was of the chaebol kind while the other seme was pretty ordinary middle class like the Uke. Stuff like that can be really interesting as its two diff lifestyles
Tho i agree that its easy to get exhausted with triangles
Fuck Haeyoung and the other two but I have to admit that Haewon is incredibly courageous and resilient for just going back to his life after everything that happen with no help from anyone
