I will give this a chance but I have to say between the incest and the misery of jooha and dooshik i was hoping to get better from Seughyun and the boss. They were truly the light at the end of the dark tunnel of the main story for me.
Alas Inking hates and ripped it away from me. I believe she just likes creating characters just for the purpose of torturing them. Hopefully my baby Seughyun doesn’t suffer too long ╥﹏╥

I really liked the artstyle but HOLY SHIT hated everyone in this and if that was the goal of author-nim then she’s really gifted because she was even more than successful.

Jaemin thinks he’s such a great mastermind but he’s the biggest loser coward ever. All his strategies or plans SUCK ASS.
Soohyun and Seunghyun are IDIOTS! The moment someone starts mentioning they’ve been PINNING for the same person for years. Why the FUCK do you think you can just change that? The worse is that Soohyun looks so much like my baby Seo-An from the pizza delivery man and the golden palace. And that made me angry.
Let that be a lesson for any inconspicuous reader out there in a similar situation. If someone you have your eyes on has had feelings for someone for YEARS or they’ve been together for very long. Don’t even try. Coz that is the love of their life.
Start gardening, learn how to play chess, read a book, join Tinder. Just don’t get into unnecessary drama because you’ll be signing up for straight up emotional damage. Look at the damn ending! Even though that stupid think chose Seughyun, he knew that the moment he looked back, Daon would hesitate again.
We’re supposed to think that it’s a happy ending but I know for sure Seughyun will just keep being anxious coz he knows at the back of his head he’s not really the only choice and it’s not like they left the country like Soohyun. Daon could run into Jaemin at any moment and then what?
He was an idiot in my opinion he should’ve just kept his distance like he was doing and see if Daon would actually pick him but since he has no backbone he had to come running back.
And the worse for last of Daon. Daon, Daon, Dao … Daon has the worse possible combination. He’s a push over AND a slut! You can’t be both at the same time. If you want to juggle between three dudes, do so with intention! I know it sounds horrible but it’s true. The entire time he acted as if he was a victim of his love life.
You have two perfectly working eyes, no glasses like his sister but he tosses his eyes and his brain off whenever Jaemin says anything. Dude you KNEW that Soohyun liked you (HE NEVER HID IT) and you knew you liked him but you believed that dude liked Jaemin ? I just hated him so much!
Jaemin wasn’t right about many things but one thing he was spot on is that Daon’s feelings are easily swayed. He will literally go for anyone nice to him when he’s feeling down.
He was down about being poor, Jaemin was there. Poof, he’s in love.
He was down when he thought he wasn’t good enough for Jaemin, Soohyun was there. Poof, he’s in love.
He was down when he was confused about Jaemon and Soohyun, Seughyun was there. Poof, he’s in love.
I personally hate these types of people coz you just have to have the right timing.
All this to say that in my opinion, I think the one Daon actually has real feeling for was Soohyun. They had the most chemistry but he did not deserve Soohyun. He didn’t feel indebted to him like Jaemim. Although Soohyun clearly was a little fucked up too for sure but he was the most confrontational about how trivial Daon is, which ultimately is what he needed, in my opinion of course.
Anyway. You know what it never was? That serious. I just needed to vent. If you read this whole charade. Congrats to you you made me proud
No same in the story universe it sucks to be the ML.. they probably aren’t gonna last long lol and if they do the ML will do the emotional heavy lifting and that’s a no for me
I hate everyone in this. No one was properly fleshed out and the NPC’s felt like caricatures of caricatures. I like the art tho

Kiyoto was honestly so based for breaking up with Touji.
I know it hurt but it’s better to wait for what he really wanted instead of constantly feeling miserable knowing his partner had someone else at the back of his mind. This was definitely hard to read. Uncomfortable for sure but very beautiful and realistic.
People have a past and they have encounters that permanently mark them. I know in romantic fictions it looks so easy to ignore the main characters’ past or exes are used as plot devices but this is more accurate. People really don’t easily move on.
That’s enough of realism. I’m here for unrealistic romantic fiction with no exes, at least not significant ones.
This should definitely have a higher rating tho but I can see how it isn’t everyone’s cup of tea depending on what you expect from it
This could’ve been MILKED so hard! a 100 chapters AT LEAST.
I loved the premise and I love his personality but it would’ve nicer to see changes in his personality a slower pace. He would’ve been more interesting if we had seen him struggle between restoring his former glory or living in peace
HUGE missed opportunity to not have a war. Also a missed opportunity to see if Ray is still loyal to his homeland or his new family. Plus we would have found out if Eddie actually poisoned the tea or not.
Also this might not be popular but I really wanted to see Chris AGONISE over his feeling for Ray contrasting his loyalty to Jiskar. If they wanted to explore a love triangle at least give some time to the second dude.
Finally we don’t see the villains nearly enough to make us care. The least is to show us how they ended up at the end of the story.
Over all a decent read that could’ve been better
