I enjoy reading this and they are so cute and adorable! But one thing that threw me off, when reading the novel, was their quick diagnosis of renato's symptoms. This isn't exactly a spoiler bc we all know that trauma can be sometimes linked to anxiety and or PTSD . I know I can be... quite picky with how certain goes in the story , but the goal for me ,when I'm reading, is to be completely immerse with the story without me having to snap back to reality until I have to. In the novel, and most likely in the manhwa, they went straight to the diagnosing him without getting a good grasp of his history, his relationships, his environment, etc . Obviously , we as readers know, but not the doctor that he is gonna see . Then they proceeded to say he got his ptsd from maximo and went straight to "fixing" it . With renato's history, he most likely been having ptsd at such a young age , and maximo's shit got stacked on it . Not only that, in the novel, he was cured within a few years from ptsd when i saw no form of therapy . Usually, healing from trauma takes much much longer than that, especially from childhood .
Ah that makes sense, yes maximo has a part in his trauma but theres a deeper reason for his ptsd like his family abuse, especially with how his blood was taken ╥﹏╥
I agree they quickly diagnosed him with ptsd without unraveling his past experiences, but i remember the novel tho not going specific with the treatment, they did mention hypnotherapy, consultation and well-planned therapy session he had to go with that military doctor in those few years.
It's not perfect representation of how healing from trauma since it's plot-focused one and other many reasons, it's still nice that this series shows Renato's mental health, the importances to acknowledge it and seek the professional. I believe each person is has its own time to be 'healed', so it could taken that Renato has stronger will to healed in few years :D

I like this story but there are some things that feels off. The author have the tendency to glide over important topics when they should be heavily talked about. Example would be when she told ml that she reversed time and they moved on to the next topic as if that wasn't a huge deal. The main reason to why this story started was bc the evil emperor used his sons, which one used jenesia to create a way to reverse time and find a way to live eternally. That is a topic that shouldn't just be glided over. Another one would be when he wanted to terminate the contract , right when she was in possible danger. He then talked about it then moves on . They also didn't have a genuine conversation . Another is when jesenia reversed time again. Yeah, the importance of not doing it was all there but it glided on next without her having to explain that she reversed time once already. She should have told the dragon that. The dragon knows what it id and the consequences, yet they aint gonna talk about the consequences that happened with one reversal? I get multiple is needed for a huge consequence, but one is enough to start . She should have told the dragon ehat happened in her past life. She should have told ml. Ml should have asked more about it too. There may be clues to howbto stop the emperor. There is also not really a good build up and when we that end, there is no satisfaction. Like her ex-fiance. The build up to his misery or humiliation in front of the crowd was weak and the the result was not satisfying. They also don't drop a lot of hints. They just drop bombs without hinting it to us. Like the pink hair lady and the family she pretended to be. Sure , the world don't know about the slavery but they just dropped it on the readers so suddenly that I wasn't even shocked. Also, they knew potions must be taken multiple times. She can fool the students but how tf did she fool the teachers? I'm only reading this bc of the male lead. I'm curious to how he would get revenge against the emperor and empress. I'm curious to how the emperor recieve the hard consequences of fucking around with people life, using their mana for eternal life. I'm curious to how he became king. I'm still confused to how he would get rid of the king when most of his connection seems to be cut off other than the white knights. Does the empress crave eternal life as well or was she left out? Did the king love ml mom ? I need to know why he turned his back when she didn't want eternal life with him. Was it bc he had killed people? And why is time reversal needed for immortality? That is why I'm still sticking around. It's a good story, but it glides over so much, yet it's keeping me trapped bc I need to know more about ml and the emperor's punishment. Death would not suffice for the king. If he wishes for eternal life, may he get eternal life of suffering in pain until he pays his evil deed.
In a way, sadly, I'm giving guwon sort of a benefit of doubt bc I've seen manhwa/Mangas where this person was such a dick but had reasons for it. Don't get me wrong , I want guwon to suffer the things he did . The moment I saw him do that to a father who wants meds for his kid, I wanted him gone. I strongly believe that him and the hounds should be gone. But there's something gnawing me. The story just started so that's probably why I'm giving benefit of doubt. What if there's more to it that us readers are unaware about? I'm curious to see more. I'm curious to how mc going to do this . Will he truly end guwon's life ? Will he fall in love and say fuck it? Will he die? Will he run away and guwon searches for him out of love or for revenge? No lie, I can see mc falls for him and let it go . I don't wish for that . I hope guwon gets it.
I get it but man I really can't ever forgive a big ol bitch that juslled a father who just wanted some medicine for his ailing child, or one that killed off a man family becuase the family was "worth nothing" that's just si dehumanising and so like cuz YOU KNOW gowon could've let them LIEVE but he DIDNT cuz he on some wierd oppressive tyranny bs
