I would recommend reading the first chapters of the novel too, but not to force it if it's getting boring ; in my case I tried reading the first chapters of the novel but grew tired of it (because obviously it's the same plot as the manhua) so I skipped those, but then after I read some of the novel I went back to read the first chapters... They hit different. So the choice is yours :)

Honestly, Im okay with sunwoo doing the things he did to yidam other than stalking. Turning him into an omega was an accident . sunwoo and his dad made sure the family was well off , mending that accidental situation and helping them in their time of need, financially. Sure, it was to protect yidam from the crazy one, but at the same time, it felt slightly not okay. I'm glad the stalking didn't go deep into personal space like inside the home but regardless, it didn't settle right.
I'm still rooting for them to go together. Sunwoo really love yidam , even after that year break .
