In a way, I don't mind this change with cliff and elize. The other changes, i dont like.

In the novel, the duke and duchess was so hurt by what cliff and elize did that they pushed it to the side . They didnt get punished or didnt make cliff climb back to the top. Killeon was mad about it so he took Edith to the estate in the mountain that his dad gave him and never visited the rudwick estate and let the Rudwick see their child til I believe 4 years old. The rudwick duchess was so distraught with Elize behavior afterward , she cried . That's it. Useless behavior. And The duke just let it be bc he still saw her as a daughter. They did tell her to knock it off but she kept going anyways til she fucked it up big time and got the monarch involved.
But I do like the 14th edith meeting the original Edith bc in the novel, Edith is just stuck in a book or thats they made it sound like. You are in a book , that's it. Here, it is making it sound like yeah, in a book but was written after them in a different world. The novel didn't do a good job explaining this part.
The part with Edith going to the train station and not getting injured (sad to say I prefer her torture over her less torture but a reason for that) and their quick decision to spare Edith was fucking stupid. Killeon fought really hard to get Edith out.
I don't understand what they are talking about with dream and shareholders. If he gave all away to the old man, why is he still the main shareholder??? I clearly don't do stocks or whatever this is.
Essentially Ex Director Yoon didn't have the most shares in the company. So even though he gave his shares to the old man, it still didn't compare to the amount that the secret dude who turned out to be Yoon had. So the stocks he gave the old man were legit useless in the end. I hope that helps/explains it.
Example: A has 5 stocks and B has 5 stocks C Has 20 Stocks. A (Yoon) gives B (Old man) all his stocks. So A + B = 10. C (seceret dude who was named H but was director Yoon) still has 20 stocks. So C has the most stocks out of everyone and A giving B the stocks didn't make a difference.

Two different companies here… Dream Entertainment spun-off a new company called Dream Productions. Jay had shares in that company, but then sold what he had to that Kim piece of shit, which made Kim the major shareholder and the new owner of Dream Productions which had purchased the rights to the drama, The Memory. Jay also had shares in Dream Entertainment, with the one with most shares in THAT company being H-Corp. Jay was just given all those shares by “H” family, making Jay the majority shareholder of Dream Entertainment, and now technically its owner.
Dream Productions, owned by Kim will now collapse since he put all his money into a drama that he can no longer film because he’d be in breach of contract due to not having the rights to the song which is the central plot device to the story. And yes, Jay knew ALL ALONG he would become the eventual owner of Dream Entertainment and was just biding his time before he could clean house (fire the idiots) AND bankrupt that monster Kim in the process. If you remember at the very beginning of the story, it was rumored someone would some into Dream Entertainment who would eventually fire a lot of executives and useless actors who were draining resources.
