Ok my thoughts so far;;;
I feel bad for the Emperor/Enoch I sincerely don’t like the MC bc she was wayyyy too much in the first timeline now she wants to make everything right and I don’t like it bc he’s in love with her and we all know he won’t hold her accountable for treating him like shit as well as calling him “an abomination” or “a monster”-depending on the translation- when he expressed to her how hurtful that feeling like that was to him even when she told him “not to call himself a monster” she calls him it out of spite when he literally didn’t do anything wrong to her and only was kind
…like I get there was a misunderstanding but the misunderstanding wasn’t even that serious for her to act as bad as she did…once again…he’ll never hold her accountable for her words bc he literally died for her in the past life so she can treat him however she wants bc that’s the plot ;;;;((((( like I get the trope “he’ll love but never be loved” but then she says she was in love with him the whole time so hhhhhhhhhhhh I hated that, especially after getting his backstory ;;((((
Then “if you had told me the truth we would have kissed already” like girl you know his lore now so you KNOW he didn’t even know there was a misunderstanding so why r u placing the blame on him???
;( glad she reversed time bc she fucked up big time ;;(((

i’m a big enoch and juliet defender so here’s my two cents
juliet has always liked him. before he was revealed to be the duke, she enjoyed his company in the gardens. however, because he lied to her and then skipped the official meeting (because he was sick but she didn’t know at the time), she felt betrayed. first, he was showering her with affection! but then she finds out he lied? not to mention he doesn’t even show up! she must have felt she was just being used for her position. she wanted honesty but because enoch is scared of being hated, he lied. additionally, juliet is cursed just like enoch is. her family has a disease that kills their princesses young. so she already knew she would live a short life, now add on to being thrown into a marriage she didn’t consent to! she was tossed into a foreign country with the man who deceived her with no friends or family. no matter how much she liked him, she felt betrayed which fueled her anger. this is all due to miscommunication and also just the emperor being a dick lmao and not properly explaining. after she knew everything (because remember, EVERYONE was lying to her. enoch, her brother, even the emperor) it was only then she realized what was going on. that’s why she felt so guilty. it’s not that she was mad for no reason, but she was intentionally being kept in the dark. there was no honesty in their first timeline. while enoch did love her dearly, he also lied constantly. even until his death, he never revealed anything to her, so enoch isn’t exactly a good person either. but in the end, i love both of their characters because it’s so complex

Enoch didn’t lie he literally didn’t even know that she was feeling that way bc he “kept things from her” keeping things and lying about them are not the same. Not only that she NEVER asked him for the truth bruh she never tried to get closer to him, understand him or nun and who cares if they were lying tbh, they weren’t lying to hurt her and she wasn’t abused in the home or anything of the sort she literally had free will, she want even forced into the marriage… not to mention the whole time it was his brothers doing that they were even engaged but instead of her talking it out like an adult would, or asking him why he wasn’t there and etc (bc then she would’ve found out that his brother was burning her letters to him) she just completely treated him like shit over something so minuscule.
Yeah yeah, she was mad that they lied but girl after a while u need to let that shit go omg it was so dragged he didn’t do anything to you for real and he needs to hold her accountable bc she was seriously horrible.
SO SAD BUT SO FULFILLING ;((((((((
