Ok so she takes in Ethan who literally tried to murder her on multiple occasions, betrayed her by working with the ED just for him to fall in love with her ? She trusted him way too mfkn easy when she should’ve just offed him.

Then we have the emperor- whom I want her with- but the original duchess was going through trauma from him and everyone is making it seem like she’s this horrible person but tbh with the flashbacks and the way the empires treats her it seems like HE was horrible to HER which caused her to become this corrupt lady. Especially bc so many ppl are trying to murder her including him.

They got over their issues way to fast and didn’t even talk anything out he just said “I like this memory ignorant version of you, it reminds me of the u b4 I caused you trauma and abandoned you then left you with your abusive father who used you at every turn, after which I happily crushed your spirit by saying I have never wanted u and you pinning for me is annoying, then you kidnapped my mother to get away from your father, then you most likely starting ingesting poison bc so many people were trying to poison you at every turn but I’m so self centered that I thought u were trying to poison me, even though u probably couldn’t trust that I wouldn’t poison you bc yk I continuously threatened to murder u and treated u like shit LOL!! Actually did u forget, I did murder u! Haha! But whatever let’s get married I love you now.” And the dumb ass new duchess is just like “you’re right the old duchess was a horrible person of course everyone would hate me :( I’m in love with you too let’s save the kingdom”???? Like wtf is going on.

Also,, the MC losing the memories of the real duchess provides no depth to her character and it makes it hard to understand her, 65 chapters in and we only have 3 panels of backstory spread out btwn 2 chapters.

Chapter 40 he hated her chapter 65 they’re in love even through they’ve never talked through their issues….

Ok my thoughts so far;;;
I feel bad for the Emperor/Enoch I sincerely don’t like the MC bc she was wayyyy too much in the first timeline now she wants to make everything right and I don’t like it bc he’s in love with her and we all know he won’t hold her accountable for treating him like shit as well as calling him “an abomination” or “a monster”-depending on the translation- when he expressed to her how hurtful that feeling like that was to him even when she told him “not to call himself a monster” she calls him it out of spite when he literally didn’t do anything wrong to her and only was kind
…like I get there was a misunderstanding but the misunderstanding wasn’t even that serious for her to act as bad as she did…once again…he’ll never hold her accountable for her words bc he literally died for her in the past life so she can treat him however she wants bc that’s the plot ;;;;((((( like I get the trope “he’ll love but never be loved” but then she says she was in love with him the whole time so hhhhhhhhhhhh I hated that, especially after getting his backstory ;;((((
Then “if you had told me the truth we would have kissed already” like girl you know his lore now so you KNOW he didn’t even know there was a misunderstanding so why r u placing the blame on him???
