I really don't understand the author.... why ? You had a interesting plot so interesting a boy not very sure of his sexuality even if everyone see it and tell it to him and a blind boy who doesn't see the apparence of him......simple, cute, slice of life ... even if the autour wonted sum dama dont do it like thaaaat !!!! It doesn't make sense!! The story lost the base that make it interesting I'm a little bit disappointed but gonna keep reading :(

It’s not exactly the same art style, but check out Fujitobi’s works! Their art style is pretty nostalgic too. I recommend Saiaku no Jinsei and Awairo Emaki.
