Well that's impossible. If they have a good ending then this manhwa would not be moral, justice must rule. What about all the ppl he has killed?
He needs to be punished. If the circumstances were otherwise then I would agree to it but now this is an issue of morality.

well, a happy ending could mean that both of them get into the same asylum lol but in reality not all criminals are caught so it is possible for them to be on the run. At this point anything is possible. It does not matter what is moral or justice as in reality too it does not always win.

I never said that in any part of my comment. I just said that a happy ending could be interpreted in many ways like them landing in a mental hospital lol which I would prefer since that would mean they were caught and also getting mental help. I never stated which ending I want and the moral of the story will still be there no matter the ending and it is definitely not to just let people rot away in prison. You have many books where things happen which are the exact opposites of what the moral story is. For example crime and punishment where raskoljnikov almost till the end doesn't recognise his crime for wrong or combray where rastignac never changes and just gets worst with time and socially climbs like a master, aka displaying behavior contradicting the morals of the story. Basically the authors explain what is good behavior by showing you what is bad behavior.

I can see that too. Considering their mental state is deteriorating with time and their dynamics changing it is quite possible.
