Songrik has a twisted perception of love/family because of his abuse and abandonment...but I still don't think it excuses any of his actions. The way he said he only felt disgust and pity for jinhyeong and belittled his problems just because he wasn't abused in the same way...

Why are people hating on Songrik just because Uyun isn’t in the chapters? I actually think he’s a really good character. The fact that he was able to go through the domestic abuse, abandonment, AND discrimination/bullying from his peers…he’s so strong. I think it’s completely valid for him to feel betrayed/hurt when Jinhyeong doesn’t acknowledge their friendship in front of his father (the fact that he needs to be hidden is rly sad)
I feel like Jinhyeong is going to pretend like he doesn’t know Seong-rik when he visits his place because of his dad :( im happy jinhyeong grew n is in a happy relationship with uyun but I can’t help help but feel sad for his past relationships/friendships that didn’t workout because he prioritized his own feelings (jinhyeong himself admitted he victimizes himself in every situation)
