Daehyung quit his job and yiyoung thought he was broke because he thought that was his only income so he let him live with him. It was uncomfortable so daehyung got a temporary hotel and as it turns out he has multiple incomes and investments. Everything is going great with yiyoungs company and they even have an office space now. They are learning to balance working together and being in a relationship with awkward mishaps such as being caught by their peers mid-funny business on a desk at work. One night of drinking makes them go in depth about eachothers past love lives and daehyung recounts only dating successful older women who in actuality never prioritized him and were already settled in their success and had nothing to gain or learn from him, whereas yiyoung only had flings and never had a real relationship until now. This apparently makes daehyung nervous so in a baffling move he tells yiyoung he’s going to have plenty of chances to expand his list of partners in the future which obviously hurts yiyoung and causes their first big couples fight. Likely a misunderstanding of mindsets as kang has never been prioritized by partners and likely expects the same. Yiyoung is approached by a handsome fellow who wants to fool around with him, thus ending the season.
