I'm going nuts over this and am excited for it! I have read all translated 9 chapters so far and here is a my lil mini review so far:
I read the comments before reading and from what other's were saying I was expecting the uke to be so unlikable but OMG how can people not like Junseo!??!? HE'S FREAKING ADORABLE omfghajbsdhnaidna! Junseo is SUCH a sad baby, has been through a lot of emotional pain, and has given up on his dreams despite still being so talented. Yes, he's pathetic and he parties and is promiscuous but he really is a sweetheart and does those things as a maladaptive coping behavior to deal with the negative emotions he obviously feels about the way his life has turned out. I dunno, I really like his character so far. He just needs some healing and that baby will SHINE. So hoping for that by the end of the manhwa.
AND OH MGOOODDDDD THE SEME. LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE HAVE ANOTHER YANDERE KANG WOJIN WHO'S HOT, PSYCHO, AND SEEMINGLY PROTECTIVE OF UKE!!!!! Woojin looks soooooooo much better with his hair down but his expressions are deliciously crazy and belong in my crazy seme faces album, lmao. I am ON MY DAMN KNEES praying for my FAVORITE FLAVOR of yandere seme, which is a yandere that is fucking psycho but is downbad for their lover and respectful of them as a person... which the seme is really looking to be!
My only regret is that I found this one too soon.... must.... let.... marinate. *cries*

Shitty yes but he’s also not truly bad or incorrigible. It’s kinda a gray area bc of the context of the manhwa imo. That doesn’t mean he isn’t aggressively shitty to the MC!
But plot is really good though! It’s a different take on a power based society.

The ml is actually really shitty, everything you heard is correct. He is an irredeemable pile of trash. He is the captain of a terrorist organization that kills anyone that gets in their way, including normal civilians who happen to stumble onto the scene.
Their grand reason for being murderers is that they want to use their abilities without government control, which is fine until they started killing newbie users and citizens that even breaths in their presence.
The ml has lied and manipulated the mc more times than should be allowed. The mc who is supposed to be smart can’t even figure out his rapist true identity even after one of the ml’s subordinates, said that their captain, the ML, was the Mc’s boyfriend, RIGHT TO HIS EAR.
The mc has clearly refused and rejected the Ml’s advances and punched him multiple times but the author just skims over all the red flags and now they are in love .
The potential wasted brings a tear to my eye.
Same I just hate when authors make the characters so infantile and easily accepting of everything.. as humans there’s just no way that’s believable.. everyone has a limit to the amount of BS they can endure
That aside the plot is interesting I love when characters like the MC are known to be OP but I just wished the OP nature also bled out into his personal life
I like it though that the bad guys in this manhwa aren’t just the ML and his group though everyone is cuckoo for coco puffs

the unofficial translation is up to chapter 40+ and yes, the seme has the BEST character development ever they genuinely made me cry bc they were super soft nd romantic so let the candle slowly burn cuz its slow burn (=・ω・=)

Rape fest galore
there is a lot of rape, but it is written sexual or romantic at all, but rather clinical; it's basically to show how awful and unlucky his life is. there is a plot outside of the rape, and character development (altho it is more accurate to say downward spiral bc it gets progressively worse for mc). seme never touches mc after the first arc, until mc initiates much later. it's hard to say seme changed bc imo the only change is that he fell for mc; it's more like a gradual unraveling of his character and motivations... but he does make sacrifices for mc bc he loves him, even while pretending he doesn't. he's a genuinely well-written "black flag" character. i kinda have a love-hate thing for him. there is some payoff when mc gets his revenge, but it's eclipsed by the tragedy he faces. the whole thing is essentially misery porn/drama with some catharsis, but if u are curious about a raw and gut-wrenching exploration of stockholm syndrome, id rec reading the novel instead.
