If anything, she just accepted her situation. She knows she can’t have a life without him so she’s just trying to make the best out of a rather shitty situation basically.

He will always be anxious, that never goes away. And she will never tell him she loves him. They have a kid, and she’s happy. She tries to reassure him that she won’t try to leave him anymore but that’s all she tells him. No sweet words, just basic fact, and that’s how it ends. To me it’s a bittersweet ending. She’s content with her life, I feel she doesn’t hate him anymore but the resentment is still there and she does love him in some ways but will never tell him. He will always be anxious and paying for what he did to her in their first life. Sweet since they stay together (if you want to see it that way) and bitter since the past never fully goes away.
