And THAT'S why we don't give these guys a chance! You give in to the nice boy following you around. They get that weird possessive jealous anxious nonsense. And tell you about it like you can do something about it!
"IT'S WHAT MADE YOU HELPLESSLY TRAPPED IN MY GRASP AFTER ALL..."
Second reason why we don't give guys we aren't attracted to a chance.
If this was a different genre, Ji-han would be locked up in the basement somewhere being spoonfed and fucked to oblivion.

girl.. jihan WAS locked up in a basement somewhere being spoon fed and fucked to oblivion literally 3 chapters ago maybe not literally but he was in that apartment for 2 whole days!!!! i don’t think it’s a stretch for heesop to freak out about someone he cares about when jihan quite literally went no contact for 2 days lol

I see the complaints in the comments, but I don't see this as forgiveness.
This feels much more like a very tenous truce.
Black dragon is metaphorically on his knees every day. She is barely giving into his requests. Everything she does is a calculated move to help the kingdom.
And the black dragon is doing everything she says.
This isn't a healthy relationship. It's currently held together by contempt on the FL's part and anxiety on the ML's part.
Their roles in the story is practically flipped. Maybe FL will feel like they are even now and maybe properly marry him in the future.
But for now, this isn't forgiveness.

Took the words right out of my mouth! No she hasn’t actually forgiven him and she won’t in the story. Though that might change depending on the artist since they don’t always follow the novel. If anything, she just accepted her situation. She knows she can’t have a life without him so she’s just trying to make the best out of a rather shitty situation basically.
NOVEL SPOILER!!!
He will always be anxious, that never goes away. And she will never tell him she loves him. They have a kid, and she’s happy. She tries to reassure him that she won’t try to leave him anymore but that’s all she tells him. No sweet words, just basic fact, and that’s how it ends. To me it’s a bittersweet ending. She’s content with her life, I feel she doesn’t hate him anymore but the resentment is still there and she does love him in some ways but will never tell him. He will always be anxious and paying for what he did to her in their first life. Sweet since they stay together (if you want to see it that way) and bitter since the past never fully goes away.
Is their goal still to find a cure? If their goal is survival, an army would be nice.
