I don't know if gun's abilities was ever addressed in this story. It's interesting to see that his family was part of the creepy cult.
Which feels like maybe he was adopted into Hyungs family on purpose. So his parents must have been in the creepy cult too? Because this is a hell of a coincidence.
I'm having a hard time understanding the last panels.
Did stepson put his dirty ass finger in his stomach? Was the Bible just a metaphor? Is the step son considering stepdad his god or religion?
Why did step father freak out before the accident? What did step son do?
Dick so good you start speaking in Morse code and hallucinating firework ghosts.
I need the bottom to gain some confidence, and I need the top to FUCKING RELAX!!!
I feel like this would have been better in like Sunday news comic strip format.
The author did not integrate the characters well once they got together. So doesn't make for a good story, just see it as a bunch of shorts instead .
Minchan is wondering why his fuck buddy is such a little bitch. Lmao.
Bro gets pummeled as a hobby and is so confused.
The bar is low, but yay to Dan setting that boundary and JK for respecting it!
"BUT THAT'S HOW MUCH YOU SHOULD BE EATING IF YOU WANT TO GET BETTER."
There were like 30 steaks on that plate. He did not need to eat all of that!
There's probably quite a few but two stand out to me.
- the choice to not show their faces at all in the break up dialogue. I know this is the scene that happened in chapter 1, but if you had to read this week to week, the escalation is much more of a surprise to us. Dohoon sounds like he is talking calmly. Maybe his face betrays this.
- during the assault we thankfully don't see, all of the screaming is faded out. And dohoon's speech bubbles are in focus. The speech bubbles appear calm. Appear reasonable. And the pain of the bottom doesn't matter. It kind of makes this part of the chapter from dohoon's point of view. With the way dohoon asks Juwon to think of high school, it's clear season 2 will be the flashback, but I wonder if a lot of it will also be mostly in dohoon's point of view.
I guess I will see in a few minutes.
We all knew dohoon was bat shit. But to see actually proof in front of us and still doubt it? Even I am gaslit because Yuwon's doubts made me start doubting him. The whole chapter is the visual representation of gaslighting. Well done artist!
This chapter was done incredibly. Because the comic already blurs reality and imagination by not changing panel design, I have no idea if that kids head is in the planter. Like I can assume that was a fantasy. But I also can understand in this awful situation that Yuwon would not turn on Duhoon. And would just pretend that it didn't happen.
I don't even want to know if if really happened or not at least not yet.
Last panel? Creepy af. The black background around panels? Must be intentional to keep this dreary. Yeah the smut is phenomenal. But I don't feel good about it. That aura of crazy around the top is just dripping nearly Everytime he engages with Yuwon.
