TBH there's no one we can blame here. Even in Yi-chan's case, he's doing whatever he could just to see her smile. Ofc he can be absolutely human, however just imagine being him, he's the guardian and his Sole Duty is to protect the human! How can he transform his human form while he knows it'd be a loss for her? And MC's mother can't be blamed either. IMO, her one fault is that she said they'd never meet from the very first. That just hurts my heart even tho I'm not Yi-chan. Her being able to see spirits and him wanting to be with her, none of these are their faults. Why's everyone blaming him? He can just live like a guardian but that will lead her to be a loner. He can just be a human but that will also lead her to be in danger. How can he solve everything?
