I dropped this manhwa due to its few chapters. Luckily, TLATB made its way to my timeline again. While reading the available chapters, I became fond of our couple lead. Initially, they were bland. A friendship formed from an arranged marriage.

What changed in my perspective is when I realized that Astina nutures Terriod as she sees her past lover on her husband. Although she had the intention to perform her duties as a partner, it was clear to see that she is in a different level of affection towards her husband.

Their relationship became more evidently messed up when they had enlightenment about the curse. I am acknowledging Terroid's behavior as his reaction. It is normal to feel negatively after what concurred in their story. They both have their sides and we can see their frustrations through actions.

They have complex ties that roots from Martina and Theodore's broken relationship. To be honest, I love falling in love with this type of writing. A complex and digestible literature that gives us a glimpse of our society. To say the least, it made my heart ache when readers do not fully grasp and comprehend this type of writing.

Of course, most people do not experience getting stuck between the past and the present. And yet, it has happened a lot of times that it became visible enough to be discussed. As the saying goes “easier said than done,” moving on and trying to love someone at the same time is not an easy feat. People may call it complicated but that's the point. It wasn't suppose to be a flick of the wrist situation. There is a deeper essence of being tangled in an indefinite relationship.

In my opinion, reading this manhwa is an eye opener however bad the frustration may be. As I have mentioned earlier, reading complex and digestible literature will give us the opportunity to grasp the situation in our society. People should try comprehending this manhwa to gain more knowledge in media literacy.
