Tbh he's an underrated ML, he progressed as a character that's not just hot and cold, he actually has emotions (shocker!!) and investigates to conclude his opinion.
He started just as any MLs, but his pride pushes back his prejudice and we love to see that

And they're getting closer to my favourite chapter, THE KIDNAPPED INCIDENT!! Though that's a totally terribly thing irl, and definitely not a great situation for our beloved (and elise) characters, it's still a favorite of mine. However, that means it's itching towards the end, and I'm not ready to say goodbye!! But since it's one chapter per week, this manhwa will probably be finished early next year TT

It's pretty far, they get exposed right after Edith completes her 3rd mission thing to break the author's control on the narrative.
More on that : Killian will expose them, but Cliff will try to protect Elise until he can't handle her high standards and vanity anymore
It's childish to just hate him because he's mean, dull, a shithead, and notably infuriating but I'd like to find out the significance of his backstory to the rest of the plot....because it look so long to finish !!!! What arc is next? The chasing arc?
its not childish to dislike a character that has been nothing but selfish throughout this entire story. that obsessive FREAK built up this image of FL in his delulu head and had the nerve to get mad when she didn't meet his expectations AND he decided to punish her for it! especially irked me the way he reacted when she had her miscarriage and completely disregarded her feelings...he deserves nothing but misery (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
