This is dragging on without a reason. I’d understand if this were a high school romance drama, but it isn’t!! This is an adult romance drama, and everyone needs to start acting like adults they are. What the hell.

Reading the comments, and I’m noticing a lot of people are borderline with this series. I get it tho. The fl is kind of spineless, the ml is tease, and the second ml is mysterious as shit. I can’t tell whether he’s actually a bad guy like the rumours or if he’s actually good. I’m pushing through this until I get some answers. I’m invested. The art is also super good.

No way, fluffy smut with a plot?! If it was uncensored, this story would hit a trifecta.

I like how to the coworker tried to be “helpful,” but it backfired. Yeah let’s tell a stalker something that “he doesn’t know.” That aside. This chapter indirectly revealed a lot about Taeha and his intentions, while leaving a lot up in the air still at the same time. I mean his body guard sees right thru him and Taeha doesn’t necessarily deny it either. Also a huge hint was dropped about him being an heir of a Chaebol family, and I’m not Korean, but I do know that these people stick with their own kinds and kids usually marry other Chaebols, which makes sense as to why his bodyguard says “it’ll be over when you get caught.” His father and possibly mother, won’t approve of him dating a commoner, let alone a divorcee. A lot is about to happen, I can feel it.

Okay a few things.
Firstly, I absolutely love the “standing my ground and voicing my wants” vibes Sumire gives off. A strong fl is always good, can’t go wrong with that.
Secondly, Reo looks like an entirely different person. It took me a second to wrap my head around his new appearance.
Thirdly, I adore Inowaki, he’s just happy to be involved. I love him.
Fourthly, Rio the true best friend with the “let me know when you need an alibi” card.
And lastly, the age gap. That is 7 years and not in a good way. There is no grooming, but 16 and 23 rubs me the wrong way. If it was 23 and 30 then that’s different, but, I don’t know. I guess his new appearance makes him look younger, but still. I don’t know if I can get past the age gap on this one no matter how cute the story is.

I left this for a while and came back, and now I’m just on edge. Someone in the comments said how Gaku doesn’t seem like a ml but instead an unforgettable ex, and now I can’t unsee it lol. I think their relationship screams the “right person, wrong time” because both of them are trying to make something out of themselves and are focusing too much on their individual careers. Sure they care for one another, but they’ll end up breaking each other in the process.

All I have to say that is that I started reading this because of the anime. Anime is so well done and I think it’s really good. I honestly thought the animation followed the manhua, but I was so disappointed. I read it for the plot, which I enjoyed. Decent drama for sure, but I could not get behind the illustration of the characters in the manhua. 7/10 would be my overall rating.

I feel like there is lots that could’ve been expanded on, but overall I think it’s a great story! I’ll definitely buy the physical copies, it’s worth it lol.
