[Mild spoilers, especially for ch 21]
The deveploment of the story and characters/their relationship feels so natural, it really feels like they are taking their time. The ML wants to make sure the FL is okay and feeling good, he doesn't want to rush things and is respectful of her space - and oh my gosh, any kisses they do feels so nice to see, whether that be little pecks or something more.
The story also feels realistic for the most part, with how she is shown to be healing from trauma, as well as how the characters around them act. When the servant (not palace maids) saw the hickeys and had that reaction, it makes sense, as no one else knows how she is actually like. They see her as someone with the mind of a child, and of course, want to protect her. I can't wait to see how the story unfolds in the future and when others will know the truth.
I'd be really interested in hearing someone's take on this series who has experience on mental disabilities that the FL is showing. In general as well, I'd be curious to hear more from a disability perspective and how it's portrayed in the manwha, despite it not technically being real. I understand that the people around FL don't know she is pretending, but man, something about the characters infantilizing her hit me a bit as someone who is AuDH.
In general, I kind of hope this series would show different kinds of disabilities. Not just physical, but also some other mental disabilities. I know it's unlikely, but I could see this story not doing bad with that.
I also can't wait to see the future where FL and the ex-fiancée become friends. She (ex) is clearly implied to not want to get together with ML, and I can see the two becoming close friends when they eventually get to know each other (maybe it starts when FL is still pretending, maybe it starts after she starts showing her true self). If I remember right, the ex was implied to be into swordmanship... hell yeah.

Tbh, if Jaina turns out to be an intelligent demon or a half-demon or something, I think that would make this story a bit more interesting - it would just be a small twist on the typical tropes, that instead of "just" using black magic (which seems to be implied a lil bit so far) it's actually more innate than that for her. Especially if the fact that there are intelligent demons is more hidden than known.
I still don't like the idea that the brother and CP fell for her bc of dark magic or some shit - that's just lazy writing. (It's not yet confirmed, that's just the feeling a lot of people have gotten so far and I, unfortunately, agree.) I don't care to see the CP be all happy with MC only for MC to think he hates her, and then her being the one who ends up breaking his heart (bc of something he couldn't control). Like dammit, have Jaina seduce those men without any love potion spells or that crap - let her use actual tricks and be cunning to get past MC's inteference to get the men's interest, and eventually get them to fall for her. Manipulation is much more interesting than just magic. Have the CP be more shallow by falling for it, instead of him being truly head-over-heels for MC.

Last time I checked the comments there was one surprise (hate??) thirst for prof V, I was not expecting to see more of those, y'all really like him
Not that I can blame you, I feel similarly about prof Garcia (the half-orc/-troll), I'm so fucking gay for her and always have been, I need her to pin me down and show off those muscles

Yes, I'm joining the people who've read the novel and didn't give spoilees but just recommended reading the novel for yourselves. I started reading it after the first 10 or so manhwa chapters got published here, I'm not yet done with it but it's 100% worth it!!
Earlier I already felt that the manhwa was going a bit fast, and now that I've been reading the novel, I definitely agree. I understand adaptations have to cut out stuff often but I feel like they could've given a bit more in the manhwa :")
I completely forgot if it was mentioned that Ian and Annabelle are 22, and Aaron (pink-haired guy) is 20, I only rememeber thanks to the novel and me being surprised - I would've thought they were 2-4 years younger.
I will admit, loved seeing Annabelle blush with her whole confrontation with Ian about the bookmark. And of course, Ian is never escaping the pegging comments with how he reacted to being pinned down by Annabelle ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭

I'm actually so down for more of these stories with hunter/dungeon settings where the story is more of a slice of life/romance/comedy genre rather than action - especially where the MC is a woman. I'd love to get more women as MCs in the hunter/dungeon settings in general (especially action since a lot of the ones with male MCs tend to sexualise women or just. Don't know how to treat/write them well), but I'm happy to see more of a chill side to this genre. I feel like this is even better for these settings where human civilisation has learned to adapt to dungeons/hunters and it becomes part of daily life. (⌒▽⌒)

OKAY AND NOW WE MET HER BIO MOTHER, ALREADY?? I'm all here for it but now that it's obvious I want the truth to come out ASAP, and/or her to spend more good time with her real bio family (even if they don't realise they're related yet). Love the future mother-in-law but I also want Annabelle to spend time with her real parents and brother, who'd def care for her no matter what.
Honestly at this point I'm lowkey expecting the truth to come out before chapter 20. Pretty please. You can't give us something so obvious so quickly and only reveal it much later on ;;

At this point I read so many of these stories that I don't care to take them too seriously (plus this is clearly drawn closer to a comedic series rather than drama), so seeing the pink-haired man's pendant with purple hair (his younger* sister) while mentioning an anniversary, which happens to be MC's birthday... it's so obvious and cliche I started laughing (in a good way) ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
It was so cliche I had to go "no way, are you kidding me" while trying my hardest not to laugh out loud. Also, if you look at chapter 10, you can see the two have the exact same style of bangs it's definitely intentional and I'm all here for it lmao. I just hope the characters figure it out soon too, it would be frustrating to show us something so platantly obvious and dance around it for the next 20 chapters. Can't wait for her to get her real family back and receive the love she deserves.
*EDIT: I decided to try and read the novel for a bit and turns out HE is the younger sibling. Annabelle and ML are 22 and he's 20, I think.
I didn't know this was going to happen, but I had the idea that the couple could adopt Letitia now since they already think of her as a daughter for a while. Glad to see it happening! I was also thinking it could make marriage to the duke easier, now that she would no longer be considered a commoner (idk how strict the marriage laws are in their world, I just assumed).
