This was so cute, but then they both started annoying me cuz of how dumb they are and the miscommunication, but the next 3 chapters (not published here yet) get much worse and the fl drives me up the wall.. she pushes him away then gets mad at him and just acts annoying all around. Why do authors love writing fls this way? I swear women are awesome and we're much more intelligent and able to communicate than how we're portrayed in stories

FL is also insufferable.. her thoughts up until she married him consisted about how she suffered all her life, but she.. didn't? She lived a normal life.. not extravagant, but not shitty and definitely doesn't make sense for her to self-victimize herself. And then she marries him and doesn't even try to grow as a person, develop a personality or actually become a good duchess.. she's just.. nothing. She doesn't want to learn or read or ask, she just writes in her diary, accepts whatever task she's given without trying to learn how to do it, and honestly, some things she does are 100% embarrassing. You're a duchess now, insisting on attending a royal banquet wearing something old and in an crappy carriage, just to be there, why? Where's the logic in this? Where is her personality? All I see are dead eyes, weakness and insecurities.. hard to sympathize.
tbf, i think it's not that she's incompetent, it's more like she was sabotaged by the ml's mother, though it wasn't explicitly mentioned, when she first described her life as the duchess, you can see how things are never right for her no matter how much she tried.

They do love each other. I don’t wanna spoil it but they love each other so much that they’ll sacrifice everything and themselves for each other.
The FL has been supporting him with everything. He just hasn’t noticed bc she doesn’t want him to get hurt from all these nobles that either want her dead or in their bed and waste his time on her when she knows he can achieve being so much more. So she’s been playing villain when in reality everything she has done has been for him.
She believes love is weak and only brings the person down thus resulting in a “tough” love if you could say.
Like there was this rose that the ML created for her out of wood I believe and she kept it for 9+ yrs. She just doesn’t convey her love thru words but actions instead that go unnoticed.

They’re both alive and in each other’s arms by the end of the season. The last chapter is so beautiful. Nobody rlly dies that doesn’t deserve it per say. I think there’s definitely gonna be a lot of bumps and plot twists in the next season but the author said they’re going more into their past next season and explaining everything.

no I'm sorry, I read it on this other website but there's a paywall, I was too hooked that I ended up paying to know what happens.. it's up to chapter 40 for now.. I would assume if you search for the manhwa name along with the author and write raws next to it you might find something?
Okay the artist did a good job at portraying the ML as iffy all along, his smiles were too fake, the micro facial expressions, twitches, etc. He's an asshole and would love to see him grovel, but I also somehow think he fell for her? Not that it matters anyway.. oh and even though I hate him I do think the artist drew him BEAUTIFULLY..
I love revenge stories and idc how cliche they are, I'll always eat them up.. that being said, I wasn't a huge fan of the FL either, and despite everything, one of the things I wanted while reading is to see HER character growth and I believe this was the stepping stone for it. Would be interesting to see, I actually really like the story and the smut is great (also, uncensored so yay)!
