I think what hurts Skylar the most is Cirrus lying to him. You can't really see yourself in a "healthy" relationship when the other is constantly lying to you.
You can't find yourself trusting someone who lied and deceived you (even if you think it was for the better).
I feel like it's an inevitable problem that both should face in their relationship to really move on from the beginning of their relationship.
We can see how Cirrus have been really manipulative and someone who can lie easily for his own benefits. With how Cirrus is... Sooner or later this was inevitable for them to have this kind of results.

I kinda agree with youand lal the comments in here. A part of me is jn disbelief that all thebreak ups happened cause Cirrus made Chan-il and that girl together, like it seems petty to me? I mean i understand them getting to a fight but i just didnt expect that the reason is that petty. But then all the comments rationalized it as well and it makes sense - the lies and manipulation is all there and Skylar is still traumatized by what happened to him in the past, so i cant really consider the reason to be petty. 100%. Cirrus has a twisted personality which is quite popular in romance trope but could be seen as red flag-ish irl. But what he did to Skylar back then was when he was a little sh*t and a bit of a jerk. Presently Cirrus has shared his wounds and and been upfront and if he hasn't it's just not relevant any more. Skylar is the only one in the equation who hasn't revealed himself or his past to Cirrus. I hope they work it out but (agree to disagree if you like) I still think Skylar is stuck up and sensitive only to his own feelings.
