Literally that's what's everyone been talking about, so much so that sometimes it even sounds like they're saying that Taesung commanded Kang il to hurt Sooyung (which is both not true and is an over-exaggeration). I'm pretty sure Taesung is not really happy about this, he's possessiveness might make him think this was necessary, but in the end I don't really think he likes seeing Sooyung like that. I think he really loves Sooyung but in a too twisted and overly possessive way.
