Sometimes re-reading makes miracles. The plot is becoming kind of complicated.
I think it goes more or less like that:
"Main character" gets a "vampire boyfriend".
"Vampire boyfriend" has a complicated family.
The "complicated father" of the family wants "vampire boyfriend" back home, and he kindly threatens to kill "main character".
"Complicated father" also gets a boyfriend, who is the "best friend of the main character".
"Main character" turns out to be a tasty badass and starts making deals to get power to be able to protect himself. He does that by taking the lead of the organization that is controling all the boyfriends of the vampires (AKA vampire food), he wants to stop them from threatening them, to change all the old way of thinking that they can play with their food however they want (but don't play with your food, kids, specially if they can talk).
And in the meantime "vampire boyfriend" evolves to "confused vampire boyfriend" because he can't understad that his "complicated father", after having killed everybody else, now got himself a boyfriend as if nothing ever happened.
Maybe I forgot some details, or basically everything, but kind of this is it.
well yeah basically that is it but the" complicated father" somehow put a scent on his kin " food " and that upsetted the boyfriend i dont understand what that scent meant?????
It meant love. They said "obsession" and "possession", so I guess a wrecked love? Comming from the man who loathes all humans it was surprising.

I agree with your summary except at this moment I think “vampire boyfriend” is more like “little kid I want to hurt you like you hurt me vampire,” and is ripe for “scheming vampire” to use as his weapon of revenge against “complicated father.”
I think the only way for things to be resolved between vampire father and son is for “complicated father” to stop being complicated and explain his feelings of hurt, anger, and feelings of betrayal toward the human race that indirectly caused the death of the woman he loved “vampire boyfriend’s” mother. Unfortunately, right now “little kid I want to hurt you like you hurt me vampire” is not ready to listen, “Complicated Father” isn’t ready to share, and “Main Character” is only one with enough power to force them to talk but doesn’t have the control yet doesn’t know that “scheming vampire” is pulling the strings.
Scheming vampire is the one they should be aware of as he will do anything and I mean anything to stay with his kin
