man I'm a slow reader and the BGM really stressed me out because I rushed through it, even skimmed through Sungbae's conversations so I could get the right experience.... STILL the music finished after about 70% of the chapter lmao..........
But it really did make such a difference omg!!!!! It gave me huge anxiety, I still have that anxious painful gut feeling lol.. Throughout the chapter it felt like I myself was deeply in love with Sangwoo and when Bum held his ashes.... I couldn't.... it felt like I lost a loved one. I still feel so heartbroken for Bum....
I guess this leaves a big hole in everyone's heart... been a long time since we (most BL readers) read something that has a tragic sad ending... it's a shock but I think it's a good shock and it reminded me of how good sad endings actually are. It's an humbling experience lol. I'm a sucker for fluff because it makes me feel so happy but from now on I'm gonna look out for tragic stories again because they just feel real and make you feel... conscious somehow. Sometimes suffering is good for the soul.
And damn... I will miss this comic so much... regardless if the ending or the last chapters or third season were good or bad... I loved this and it made me feel things and that's all it needs to be a damn good read. I love Sangwoo and Bum as characters so much, and I already miss them. And I still want them to be happy. But it is what it is.

I still don't get it tho? Are they together or nah? Or is it season "1.5" because this is them just dating aka Yohan trying to get his bae and they will be a real real couple by the end of 1.5? Is it supposed to be unclear or am I just stupid lol.. (no spoilers pls btw)
And I really really REALLY wish this would get picked up by tapas or tapytoon.... this is too good not to get an official translation! It's one of my all-time faves and I wanna be able to give the author money back... It's highly unlikely now because there's already a whole season scanlated but I still have hope

Absolutely love this! I have to admit that I found it boring at the beginning... I needed time to get into it, it was very slice-of-lifey and I was not feeling that. But I got really into it after chapter 20 or so. I feel like at first you just get to know people and work-related stuff but that really helps you to get a feel for the universe and it makes you feel connected to the characters and their struggles. And the characters are super relatable, especially Ethan. A lot of times I just could see myself in his character. His struggles with wanting to overcome things by finding distraction in life, and pulling through while keeping a friendly distance but feeling overborne by the protectiveness of the people around him and the nosiness of people in general really hit home.
So if you find this boring like me (even after 15 chapters lol) just keep going it will definitely pay off!
I don't love how the publisher is westernizing the names and speech tho... they are super cheap but this is putting me off from using their site in general. This would be even better if it would use authentic names and honorifics!
And did they change the names up... Is it Grace or Kendyll and is it Danny or George? This got me confused a few times.
And in chapter 26 that voice actor Matt Chu comes up to Jimmy and says "Jimmy! I found an old recording of yours! It's back when you just started out. So funny!" and like in the next scene Jimmy holds the drama CD of that book about Ethan, same color as the CD Matt handed Jimmy. Girl at first I thought Jimmy's first job was that drama based on that book and he just forgot about it but he probably just asked Matt to find the recording.... This got me HELLA confused lol...

LO fucking L why is Bum SUDDENLY stable as fuck and can lie like it's nothing??? He was cray cray and couldn't even talk to people normally and now he's like that? He forgot Sangwoo and maybe is able to act more sane because he is under shock but still.... And even if he would've told them the truth he still wouldn't be held responsible. At most he'd need to spend a few years in a psychiatric clinic. Imagine they find that photo and he gets charged too... lmao it would make NO sense whatsoever. Even if he were to have a breakdown, think he is Sangwoo's complice and plead guilty.. normally the criminal psychologists would get behind it and understand stockholm syndrome and all that. Girl the messiness... if this was a criminal case set in the 80s it would make sense but now we have a better understanding of criminal motives and the psychology behind it. Especially in hostage cases. Maybe not in SK but I still think this is plucked out if thin air.
I mean I can't even believe that Bum is not crying next to Sangwoo's bed already. Yes, he is under shock but the change was too much. And also why is his high school friend suddenly less pretty looking lmao

And FINALLY we saw LiHuan and YuYang for like 30 seconds... it's been 84 years....
YuYang's blush and LiHuan's smile were so cute but I wanted to see them drawing by the river!!!!!!!! Where is the scene!!!! And wasn't this the first time where LiHuan and YuYang were together and the reader didn't see it? Normally we were following along all of there moments together... I feel a distance already...
