im ok with spoilers (i have skimmed and skipped a few chaps hehe) but can anyone explain to me why the husband chose shuli to be the mariochness? it doesnt seem to me that the husband actually had romantic feelings for her since shuli is a child. So i cant really understand why of all people he picked shuli
I think it is because he was sure that shuli will be able to be the head of the family, the husband know from the start that he will die soon and realise that his oldest son Jeremy wont be ready to be the head of the family in time, the husband doesnt have a choice but to trained outsider, but the problem is the if he want to adopt kids to be trained, the order of succession will still have Jeremy on the first place since he is oldest, biological kids and a MAN. So instead the husband trained Shuli and marry her so the order of succesion will have to go through Sulli first since she was the lady of the house. I hope this make sense

I swear, I'm a picky bl reader because I've read so much that I know now whats actually good. Vassalord is one the best out there. Ive read this way way before and still come back for the phantom in the opera scene among many others too (i find it really romantic) Im also very frustrated that we never even had ONE KISS ATLEAST. But they did say "partners" at the sexy bloodsucking final chapter so its safe to assume that even if their relationship wasnt specifically clarified, they ARE in a romantic relationship.
