Damn why is this actually hurting my feelings and I’m not even caught up i always have a soft spot for ppl who have history together so my heart breaks for Jinyoung (even tho he’s being a dick) I also feel bad for heeseop omg I can’t do this and then some secret third guy from a flashback makes an appearance can the tops just kiss pls im losing my mind!!

I do love this story I waited years to let it marinate so I could binge read but i definitely felt underwhelmed by the revenge the build up was so much better and important pieces happened “behind the scenes” while he was unconscious…I’m not the biggest fan of the “recap trope” where instead of everything unfolding in front of you they just give you information on what already happened that we missed first hand idk like he wasn’t involved enough in his own revenge towards the end like myungshin literally just ran away at the sight of jay being taemin’s sponsor which is how almost every confrontation between taemin and myungshin went…something unexpected happens and he flees I was expecting a bit more for their final showdown also why do i lowkey feel like the whole actor who evaded the military arc didn’t really matter in the plot in the long run like his character didn’t really do anything else…I still rlly love this story I’m enjoying the side stories maybe even more than the main (bc it feels like it should be part of the main story) i definitely need to get my hands on the novel so I can experience this fully:)

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again this is the only story where I actually enjoy the misunderstandings, bc it drives the plot it’s not like a one off misunderstanding fight right after a couple start dating just for the sake of there being an obstacle this is entertaining and lowkey funny.
I’m ngl I usually hate when stories pan out this way but I’m enjoying the way this author handles it! I’m actually glad danwoo didn’t limit himself to only taehan after basically being turned down by him (dating-wise) it does suck that woori obviously has feelings for him so he’s just caught in the crossfire bc realistically he doesn’t rlly stand a chance in the long run but it’s so satisfying to see taehan get jealous and for danwoo to be the one to say “we aren’t together” i just love a good oh how the tables have turned moment taehan will be forced to slowly realize he’s in love yet not be able to actually do anything about it until he builds courage to confess I do want taehanXdanwoo endgame but I love woori so muchhh hopefully we get a side story of him happy in a future relationship later on:))
