My teeth clenches at the thought that all these youtubers (minus H.T.F) are channels that target people and take advantage of their fear and stuff just for a bunch of notoriety. I hated how Bomi actually got hurt and nearly died as a result of shits and giggles for their channel. Hell, it’s hella dangerous to have your face seen because now you’re lively to have people recognize you and pester you. It makes it much more dangerous considering S. Korea is so much smaller than the U.S which means she has a greater chance of being found and stalked. If I were her, I would have sued the crap out of them with that stunt.
This makes me also wonder about actual youtubers who do this kind of stuff. I remember back in the day there was this YouTube French prankster named Remi Gaillard who did actual pranks non scripted and got arrested multiple times. Some of his content just made me lmfao but when I think about it, a lot of stuff he did was dangerous to other people (though he blurred their faces) and now I get this uneasy feeling knowing about it. I also wonder about youtubers who appear all sweet and kind on screen but behind scenes they are terrible and garbage people. I’m glad this manhua addresses those ideas
