I’m still not sure why Karel thinks Sasyas just abandoned him out of nowhere. Karel lied about when he was coming back, and Sasyas was already unstable. So he waited longer than he was supposed and Karel came back.
Also Sasyas tried sending a letter to Karel but they thought he was a Russian(?) spy, so the letter never got sent. So it wasn’t like he upped and left without trying to telling him.
Man all I want to Sasyas to be happy. He needs to tell Karel about Charles, and Karel needs to stop playing these games.

(although tbf if the MC had always viewed Illya as a sweet kid ofc he would be rattled by finding out going with that route will lead to the deaths of the people closest to him or that he gets imprisoned and his memory wiped and wouldn't know how to react)
And if you think about it the 2 bad ending happens because the MC rejects him, so maybe to avoid the 1st and 2nd is to not ignore him but instead try to help him understand how he feels and maybe accept it? (although it would feel icky if Jerry had to accept Illyas 'love' to keep everyone else safe rather than choosing it because it's mutual)
