I feel like I'm the only one that doesn't want her to end up with sir leon... I mean why not just go for one of the two magicians or something that are closer to her physical age... ugh idk i just feel like there hadn't been enough leon content for me to support those two together

I’m also with you. Even if Rosemary’s mental age is closer to Leon’s, their physical age difference is just make Leon seems like pedophile.
Doesn’t mean I agree with Lutz as her ML though. Her mental age make it hard for me to ship her with Lutz, even though they’re physically closer in age. This make Rosemary like the pedophile one.
Can’t consider the romance yet, as Rosemary is still a child. At least wait until all characters physically and mentally adult first, then that’s the time we’re going to (shipping) war.

How’s that even matter when they’ll all grow up? She’s just a kid to him right now. I mean spoiling it a little, her dad the king was thinking to marry her off in political marriage which could involve some old geezer if she didn’t step in to stop that. Plus during those times, marriages with older men are normal? When she’s 20, he’ll be 30ish, when she’s 30, she’ll be 40ish, so hows that matter?

But you’re reading a work that’s based on olden times, and you can’t impose modern ethics to it? Why would it be odd when political arranged marriages happen all the time during the past, when ppl marry for titles and strengthen familial power, especially in royalty?
And besides, Leon still sees her as a kid even now, when people alrdy recognize her strengths to govern political issues? Why mention abt Leon pining after a child when he’s done nothing like that at all, and it was the princess who loves him not the other way round?

I guess it’s due to reader preferences. I personally think it’s ok, cos he was gonna reject her later anyway. I mean right now, in webnovel, there’s STILL nothing happening even though she’s all older now and the way she thinks is maturing and all. If you don’t like the setup best to just drop the manga cos it’s a slowwww burn lol. Cheers!

It does, because the ENTIRE political marriage problem is exactly what she set off to gain control over. Her dad was gonna marry her off to strengthen country ties if she didn’t achieve her own merits, whether it’s an old fart or a young prince, he doesn’t care. The entire webnovel is set up as such, and reason why nobody even bats an eyelid when they notice her feeling for Leon, an older man.
hello I haven't read this yet I just wanted to know if this was a romance. I know that it isn't tagged as such but at the same time sometimes the shoujo genre implies romance so i just wanted to know
It is, but it’s not that good. I liked it until the MC was suddenly perfect at and knew everything.
yeah, I feel you, I like a slight human-like imperfection to characters. But what's with the romance aspect of it? Is the romance like a one small moment every ten chapters type of deal or is it just not that interesting romance wise?
If you're looking for some romancing I wouldn't say this is really the place tbh.
At most, the romance aspect here is more to Dean's fascination with the mc and likewise. They both are more busy with the goals at hand than spending a good amount of chapters trying to woo one another lol. I'm sure Iris and Dean's way of flirting with one another is showing their passion/hard work in protecting the people and their loyalty to not betray one another.
The manga focuses way more on the world building aspect than romance, it usually gives the hints of who’s going to end up with who, and prince Alfredo and all that jazz but that’s for a long time coming still. I kind of like it this way too though, girl is a true boss.
She is not perfect... She makes mistakes, that’s why she got in trouble with the church, they took advantage of her mistake, she needs her people’s help to get put of trouble sometimes, specially Dean’s, not everyone loves as like in this last chapter, she also needs help to do all the work, she’s not a genius with incredible stamina, that’s why Tanya is always worried about her, because she tends to pass out of overwork...
I don’t know what you definition of perfect is, bit she is certainly not perfect, like in most of these reincarnation plots were the protagonists are indeed perfect, intelligent, strong physically (they can use the sword, the have magic, etc) and mentally, everyone loves them, they never get mad, they forgive everyone, etc, etc, etc

I’m probably thinking of the wrong manga. There was one where she started making a bunch of businesses. Somehow she knew how to make chocolate, perfume, a bunch of things that existed in her world that she would have no knowledge of knowing, so I had to drop it because it was so damn stupid. Thought that was this manga. My b.
... Nope, I think you're thinking of the right manga
I agree in that the MC is "perfect" in that she knows how to make all the sweets and cosmetics (who ACTUALLY knows how to make everything perfectly using medieval tools and ingredients, really???).
I would also argue with ViRin that "overworking" can be looked upon favourably by some people (being a hard worker), thus also making her "perfect". While I don't consider this healthy, I don't consider it a flaw, either.
Business knowledge + financial knowledge + chocolate knowledge + cosmetics knowledge = too much damn knowledge for me to believe she had ALL of it in her past life. (Maybe if she had passing knowledge in cosmetics? But no, she has FULL knowledge on it, and that seems a little sketchy to me).

Also, Idk, the people around her are all TOO competent.
And that "mistake" that you mentioned concerning the church? MC did not make a mistake there - it's just that others manipulated information and took advantage of what she had done in order to bring her down. She did everything properly at the time - she attempted to get the proper permission to build the new church and whatnot. The attacks on her afterwards came out of left field - how could she have known they would have used the situation to try to bring her down?
Missing a surprise attack like that doesn't count as a "mistake". It wasn't actually an oversight. She couldn't have predicted that.
I'd like to clarify that I do enjoy this manga, and I do think that MC struggles realistically with workloads and the weight of responsibility - but I DO see how someone could argue that she is too perfect for their liking.
