I see a lot of people upset at Yuzu for so easily forgiving his brother and yes, his brother is a piece of shit and nobody should have sympathy for him it’s just not that simple. As somebody who has been SAed forgiving your abuser is not easy, especially if they are family or a loved one. The abuse Yuzu experiences is quite literally BUILT on exploiting the victims love for the abuser and just because Yuzu knows what his brother did is wrong doesn’t mean he’ll just stop loving him. Yuzu’s response is completely realistic for a victim of incestuous sexual abuse. Yuzu does deserve justice but he also deserves a little peace.
