I don’t hate the prince, in fact, I really like how well his character is written at the moment.
For reference, I just finished chapter 55, the finale of season 1 (haven’t read the novel), and I feel really bad for the prince. He truly loves Diana, and wants the best for her, and his actions shown in chapter 54 showed me that he never was the problem, it was Diana. In addition, when Helios decides to confront the truth (about her losing her powers) with Diana, even though it’s hard for him to do so, is proof he really really loves Diana. But, Diana isn’t going to destroy that blind trust he has in her. Also the fact that Diana was demanding Helios to have trust in her after getting caught lying, really throws me off, and most of all, makes me have sympathy for Helios. So , seeing Helios mend that broken trust, makes me feel so bad for him and mad! , because god he is SO oblivious of Diana’s true nature.
Not to mention, when in chapter 45/46, where Helios admitted that he had made a grave mistake, essentially causing the break up of his and Kael’s relationship, I realized that the Helios is maybe not that bad of a person.
You can judge me all you want, but I think Helios is a great character, and he feels really human, seeing his love for his father and wanting to mend his relationship with Kael.
However, he too has his faults. He never reached out to Kael when he found out he tried to kill self, and is overall painfully oblivious of his surroundings. However, in the chapters I’ve recently read (53-54), the prince realizes his mistakes as well his finally seeing how much of a bitch Diana is.
I haven’t read all the chapters yet, but I hope Helios goes through further character development, because he is one of my favorite characters atm, given how human he is portrayed.
P.S. I have not read the novel, and if the way he is shown in the manhwa is not like the novel, forget everything I just said. :)

wait so the ghosts were never real?? man, i don’t get how the whole collective hallucination thing would work since gongchan was seeing the same stuff youngmin was or was youngmin lying the whole time but then their first encounter doesn’t add up, how’d youngmin describe the “ghost” they saw??
sighhhh wtv the mind is strange thing ig it was still a good story but the ending was hella confusing
i love you canine rest in peace:(
