i've been reading the novel incredibly slowly over the past like 4-5 years, and im still currently on chapter 993, which is only like 40% of the whole novel lol. anyways its PEAK. this manhua is subpar in comparison.
the 96 chapters of this manhua is like literally 1% of the story. its his beginning point, and gets better, trust me. there is one or two boring arcs but i stuck through and it was worth it
without giving too many details, in the novel, the characterization, the mc's thought proccesses, world-building, factions, and fights are just in so much better detail, and the mc is much more fleshed out as a character-- we see his thoughts and motivations more clearly, especially as time passes and his character changes here and there. the novel also explores a lot of more topics and issues like money, jealousy, society, corruption, control, and so much more. it is like super duper fucking long but ugh its SO GOOD even in english, i can clearly feel the author is a great writer. also, one thing i like especially is that the mc faces a lot of challenges, failures, and setbacks. its not a smooth and easy road for him, which i love because it gives it more depth
anyways, theres a plethora of comments saying read the novel, so imma say it again: read the fucking novel
lowkey i hope we get character development with claude, so far im loving his character.
also i just want to mention how i just love how the mc acted like normal when she realized she regressed. in other manwha with the same trope the fl’s will switch up their whole act and im just like its so unrealistic and makes the pacing weird.
anyway this is definitely a gem, both the fl and ml are super likable!!

for those who are scared of the harem, don’t be because this is a comedy manwha and i’m 99% sure the harem is satirical. i’m always one to hate harem usually, but it was lowkey well done in this, in more ways than one
other than that, goated story, i literally could NOT stop laughing lol
okay so i wrote a very very (VERY) lengthy rant about how much i hate the ml and decided it was way too long so imma just tell you a really long story short: the ml is a goddamn manipulator with a superiority AND victim complex and treats the fl like an object.
do not read this unless you want to see the fl get treated like trash cause we’re already at chapter 122 with no redemption and i doubt it’s gonna be good
