Why are all korean authors so obsessed with rape?? There is always some rape in the story which will be taken as something normal cuz of the rapist past. Tf is that???
It's not korean authors specifically, it's just the BL culture in general. And the readers are the ones making it popular sadly
based on the insane number of sexual assault scandals in Korea, I think it's based on real life..
I think its not really the author's obsessed with it (tho there are few authors i find extremely questionable) i think its more being influenced by real life seeing as Korea has a ton of sexual assault cases and all that. Kind of a mixed bag really
