She's holding on to their power flame (idk remember what it's called) in the beginning of the manga she used to do the same thing with okarun to keep him from transforming into turbo granny when she was still possessing him. She was always able to do it just she never did it on the rest of the gang before

I think she's definitely getting more adept at using her power! She's been able to do it while focussing when it was suppressing turbo granny while she was in Okarun, and then now when she's smaller she can probably feel things more? Or better in a sense?
So when they go all out the flames get earlier to see as they're all power users.
Probably explains why she doesn't keep suppressing Jiji when he had the Evil Eye posess him.
That's true we do she her tap into her power more and more as the manga goes by like the fight with all the aliens at the cafe is a good example I just need them to make my queen regular size again I'm tired of squinting my eyes to find her in the panels
