I mean, Gwon Gol seemed remorseful being the cause of death of the Grand Princess. It's either there was a misunderstanding or he realized his feelings too late. Still tho, what he only has is her body not her soul, so there's really no point. It seems he just want to satisfy his guilt. If he really wanted to atone, he should either follow her in the after life or live to change and atone for the rest of his life.
This, "atleast I see her she'll live the life she deserved" is not giving :/ Also digging up her corpse is disturbing the peace that she chose for herself. It just isn't right.
Seeing the baby in Abel's arms really hit me with a pang to my heart. He was about to spare no one, not even a baby ☹. Ik Karas is a product of the environment he grew up in, and he is pretty much unhinged when it comes violence, but that was a baby. Good thing Abel managed to convince him. Otherwise, not only will that poor baby face an unfair end, they probably wouldn't even hear about the secret of duke's family.
Can't say I'm satisfied. I do like it that we see Jaekyung's gradual changes and not just *poof* "I'm nice, now!!" I hope the author takes their time and fleshes out this upcoming change (if there will be any, in Jaekyung).
But I also feel very sad for our little boy Dan, he really needs someone by his side but it also totally sucks that it's Jaekyung who's with him and not his other friends (like potato! He genuinely felt a bit better when potato and actor visited him).
I hope the author drags this "forgiving and moving on" part more, because otherwise, it just won't make sense. I genuinely can't envision Jaekyung changing for the better just because of Granny's words. Sure, he listens to her, but his character is built on his pride and his jinx. Those two things are what mattered to him the most so it just won't make sense if he just one day magically realizes that he also treasures Dan. There has to be some kind of a catalyst, a really heavy one, but I'm also scared for that to happen since it could be something that harms Dan :<

The mural depicts some kind of alien, hugging an entire community of humans. The alien was drawn as a CIRCLE with all the humans inside that circle. Also, there's another detail of human remains worshipping the mural.
Could it be that Mori was somehow a part of that (possibly abusive?) community which is why he has a trauma of circular light/thingies? Although it could be very possible also that it's just a coincidence.
Didn't the lore of this story already mentioned that there came a time when an otherwordly being came to Earth. The humans weren't capable of beating down that being. However, that being "enveloped/embraced" humanity instead of destroying it. Most of the humanity venerated this being in the end, enabling other beings to reside the planet. For me, that's clearly what was depicted in the mural.
Oooh okay, ig it just felt sinister to me? The remains we're all posed like they were in the middle of worship as they died so it seemed off to me.
