I hate to sound like a degenerate fujoshi but man...would I love to see all those strange circumstances actually affect their friendship more. They are so perfect for eachother it's painful to think that they might go through with it with just an (exagerated) bromance
(Not in a forced way of course but like the arc about his big bro which was soo good)

I wouldn't say that Harada's works are necessarily realistic but at least they aren't idealistic. I love how cinical their characters are. Assholes that only care about themselves is the signature of Harada after all! (Even though I love yatamomo to bits)
Welp I am a fan of edge so Harada is in my top tens of course (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
This is so fucking weird ;_;
Why are they not even questioning it? It's kinda messed up..
Welp not for me I guess ;_;
(although this creature is super cute)
I guess its kinda normal in their world
Idduno it's still immoral in my book to choose a random student to get married to
I do not mind that they are other beings
Just the fact of a forced to marry
I get where you're coming from. The premise would be pretty terrifying in actuality. The students who get married play it off pretty quickly and their dynamic with their spouses end up being cute. It's also not sexual, so they can kind of ignore the problematic aspects of the world building. It's a cute read if you disregard it's premise.
It bothers me a bit too much to enjoy it. I like the crrature designs but I guess I'm too sensitive on the matter. Be it romantic or sexual I don't care but its literaly forcing students to cope with living with these creatures
Like imagine if they had a love interest and then tjis happens. I would have been perfectly fine if the students had a choice to go along with it or not but from no matter how I look at it it's really messed up!
Sorry but this is what I bellieve.
Don't get me wrong these creatures are lovely!....if they were like familiars that would have made more sense tho
