Yeah when I saw the raw I was really happy about the consented kiss thinking it would need more conversation, trust building and few more kiss before he acceptes intimacy. Since Horus is the one supposed to give him back his heart and love, and dignity.

But then the next chapter came, and I was so sad. Not only it is another boundary oversteps, which is even more absurd considering how Horus has been developed so far, which comes as a glitch especially after the conversation they just had, simply yo suddenly made him look like the generic airhead stubborn sème we usually do.

I would be surprised if the editors of Mojito Sensei had a say in it like they wanted a bit of a sex scene which should not have come in there, and Sensei had to compromise. It feel added and more forced than organic, unlike the kiss in the previous chapter.

Seeing Seth background with sex, he needs more conversations, trust building and a few more kisses before he acceptes any other form of intimacy. Since Horus supposed to be the one to give Seth back his heart, love, and dignity (according to Noth’s prophecy), the last conversation about Horus sacrificing his godhood to preserve Seth’s legacy was to me the starter of that connection.

But then the next chapter came and I was so sad. Not only it is another boundary oversteps, but it is even more absurd considering how Horus has been developed so far. It looks like a complete glitch to suddenly made him act like the generic airhead stubborn seme we usually deal with in Yaoi. Even going as far as using the «who touch your body?» cliché and the « if you don’t like it hit me » that makes a cameo in 90% of the BL.

I mean Horus had been shown to be quite obsessed with Seth before, but since the night he raped him under the influence of Sekmeth (still debating on how much it influenced him on that part), he may have been stupidly following Seth like a chick follow his mother, with that puppy crush of his, and his immaturity creating misunderstandings, but he never broke Seth’s consent and has show genuine concern for his welfare. Mostly to not show he is not like his father. So this chapter is weird.
