After seeing Lando’s “collection” (a little on the fence about that), I think even in the first timeline he loved Helen. However, because she was so obsessed with helping her brother, Lando couldn’t get her attention, and so he worked with Finny. But then things went downhill for Helen and she was executed. And in his grief, Lando prayed to the God of Light to turn back time. But as with all stories of this nature, Lando had to pay a price, and forgot about his previous life.

The bastard died too quickly… but at the same time I’m glad that this story doesn’t drag out plot points too long. Mixed feelings about the bloodbath though.., on the one hand Carlos and his people were justified after being hurt and humiliated like that… but the lack of a trial (even if it was a farce), bugs me a bit.

Yeah I get what you mean, it did feel a little rushed. Him healing right away like that felt kind of anti-climatic and the bloodbath thing is very tyrannical behavior. But the emperor always does have kind of that crazy look in his eyes, so while he's kind to a lot of people I wouldn't put it past him to be a tyrant given his upbringing and his curse driving him to the edge

This may sound cruel. But I honestly don’t feel that sorry for Dora. If her betrayal wasn’t going to get her into trouble, her trying to get Oli was. Maybe she would have survived her encounter with Oli, but given his nonexistent understanding of humans, more than likely he’d try to kill her; if she took things too far.
Maybe it’s the translation, but the story’s flow is a little disjointed. Not to say it’s bad, just that the flow is off. Also Erich… there’s something about him…
