Pretty sure it's a tattoo. He has a similar one along his back, his chest, and I think also his thigh. I'm curious as to why it's that design though?
I wonder if the tattoos on any of the characters mean anything? Boris has the two drawings on his arms and an arrow on his throat, Sehyun has the markings + the dagger on his chest and words on his thigh. It seems like they're very fond of tattoos though, since even many of the random side characters have them (a butterfly, a spade, etc).
