The doctor ain’t new. Reread from chapter 10 onwards. We don’t know what his actual job is yet, we also don’t know how close him and his brother were, but it seems he is seeking revenge. The murder on his brother was blamed on Mc’s cousin, but the doctor knew it couldn’t have been him. Mc just recently confessed to the doctor that ML is the one who killed his brother. (Using that word that stands for tongue less person) ML cut his tongue and murdered him and used Mc as an alibi - it happened during their first meet up - (source: he told Mc while fking him on the office desk, after that call with his uncle)
I do not feel even an ounce of sympathy for him and it pisses me off to think that they're gonna end up together anyways.
