I feel like if the author didn't intend for a switch to happen (which is fine), they should have maybe changed the writing a little. Kiyool never wanted to bottom and still doesn't! if he wants to top so badly, I don't think its fair that there was never a conversation and that he was practically forced to just give in. top is lowkey manipulative imo and uses Kiyool's simplicity and affection to his advantage. from my perspective, Kiyool's love comed off as more pure and genuine while the top is just obsessive.
