This is fiction so I'm sure it's gonna turn into a "always loved him just didn't know it" situation, but in real life this would just be codependency and the strong desire to not lose a dear friend. I'm rooting for their happy ending nonetheless. Both deserve to be happy!

thank you! good art and pretty characters make ppl overlook just about anything. This is fiction so sure, and I didn't bash anyone for enjoying it. I simply stated my own opinion and the discomfort it made me feel, because for some reason even in real life people wanna act like there's a grey area when it comes to consent, and we see it all the time in fiction.

He's emotionally and mentally too weak and too burdened by his never-ending guilt and misery. He feels obligated to accept Heeseo at his own expense, as a way to repay the love he recieved from his mom. He'll keep gaslighting and brainwashing himself into believing he actually has romantic feelings for Heeseo when we all know thats not the case. But I hope to he proven wrong!!! I really hope this is all a part of his plan to free himself. Ahhh oh how I would rejoice when that day comes!!!
