I really don't understand what this seme is thinking.... forcing someone into bdsm, when he's very noticeablely suffering, let alone "enjoy" it. Not taking his side or anything, but I'm betting the seme hasn't had anything really bad happen to him, or has led a relatively smooth life with no severe hiccups. This can cause a lack of empathy and even sympathy in a person. People like that genuinely can't under how their actions affect others without training themselves first. It's not anti-social personality disorder, just a general lack of understanding because they've never been exposed to things like that themselves so they don't understand how someone could feel going through them. They also have this odd sense of obliviousness that comes with it. If you don't tell them, they think everything is fine. My hubby was like that with me for the first few years. And sometimes he can still be really insensitive, but we have really open communication and we worked hard to help him understand what triggers me and what doesn't and that some things just can't be done or said to me that he can do to others. But he doesn't mean any hurt by it. He's selfish as hell, is aware of that, but if I don't point anything out, he's never going to know. He's a very good man. Very responsible, loyal and loving to those he has respect and cares for and sacrifices a lot for those people. But the way he shows that is not in the same way as what we might consider the norm. The seme reminds me a great deal of that. He has never been faced with trauma so he can't recognize the symptoms nor understand that he's triggering the uke. He won't know until the uke tells him. In his head, he probably thinks that because the uke cums, he's feeling good so he must like it and just doesn't want to admit it out of embarrassment, because he understands pride. He's trying to care in his own way, but he looks like he has no idea how to go about doing that because he's never been in a situation that involved feelings before. But this is all speculation on my part. We'll see as the story progresses. Sorry for the long comment.
