I agree that Tae-shin calling him any time of any day was annoying, but I think that if mc didn't want to be friends, he shoulda been honest about it long ago and corrected him... It's like if two people were sleeping with each other, one thinking they're fck buddies and the other thinks they're dating. Tae-shin thought they were "best friends" while mc treated him no better than a stranger. Indifference CAN hurt people and have negative consequences sometimes.

That whole pairing was so toxic from the beginning, I don't know what exactly you're disappointed with, I saw this coming ages ago. But even though they're really toxic together they started in a wholesome place and they might get there again. And I don't think SA needs to be taboo in and of itself in stories, it's a real terrible thing that happens to people and art always portrays reality.
