why is this boy left with two predators? what are his fine ass parents doing? do they not wonder where he's been staying or what? I fucking hate both of these motherfckers who r just using him like a toy. wtf man
I honestly don't remember that. I don't remember a lot of the past chapters. Ever since it went on hiatus, I didn't bother rereading it but even so; they have never showed up until that one flashback. I don't have the best memories so I don't remember them being mentioned. I just wonder why they haven't checked up on wooju while he's been going through this crazy shit. I know he hasn't told them but like idk it's just weird. Don't come for me but that's just how I feel, ok?
he already assaulted the red hair once so I'm not surprised... this author doesn't seem to know how to develop anything without using SA as a plot device. now people are cheering on and celebrating that red hair is getting assaulted. Rape is never okay, but stories like this trivialize it.
and just to be clear, I'm not saying red hair isn't a piece of shit
idc about his sob story. he's committed despicable acts and there's no justifying the shit he, and his family, have done to mc. But mc is clearly pathetic and spineless so...
I wouldn't go so far as to say spineless. I think the implication is that he's actually similar to the ML, in that they are both a little unreasonably obsessed with the other but it manifests in them differently. Yeongwoon is aware that he's using his job and s*x to stay close to the ML, even though it would've been much easier to cut his ties. Huh, i guess it does sound a little pathetic, but it doesnt irritate me like other MC's bc at least he's conscientious of his own reasons
bruh wdym, he didn't treat yeongwoon well until end of s1 really when he discovered he was on anxiety pills. He SAd him, and was constantly manipulating him, and other people around too - lk now, he wants him around cuz he wants to see him run frantically because he feels like that's the only proof that he cares about him. Even though if he actually spoke up, things would go better.
I think one nuance to consider that even Yeongwoon acknowledges is that he doesn't have to stay. He's aware that Seo-In is manipulating him(tho not the reason), but chooses continue their sexual relationship and manager role because it essentially gives Yeongwoon the 'right' to have a say in Seo-in's private life and stay close to him. I'm not saying the ML is a green-flag, consent king, but he's not so bad as other ML's that lord something over the MC. He's just got an asshole-ish personality and is probably too aggressive in bed. But overall I'd still consider it a 'trade'. Seo-In basically agrees to cut off his drug and sexual exploits with others in exchange for Yeongwoon committing his time and focus. Again, the MC doesn't have to engage in any dynamic with him and can cut it off at any time but what he wants is for Seo-In to remain exclusive(as mentioned before, neither parties are very reasonable with what they want from the other)
lmao i reread s1 there was no sa. if you call manipulating and not treating somebody well somehow "despicable" you're either naive or incredibly sheltered. not tryna excuse the dude but he ultimately felt like yeongwoon left him abandoned when nobody else was there for him, so him not treating him well when he met him again isn't unrealistic if you look at the story objectively. the way you word your shit you'd think the guy killed somebody
that's valid and I can agree with that. I called him pathetic because he's willingly staying in the situation and put up with shit because of his feelings. That just makes him human.. his intentions aren't to hurt anyone, or to manipulate, abused, or use anyone for personal gain. The same can't be said about blondie bitch.
Yeah its an interesting dynamic bc usually, MC's that dance to the ML's tune gets tiring really fast. I think what makes Yeongwoon likeable is not just that he is openly aware and continuing this dynamic with Seo-In, but also that he's actually being a little selfish with it. He wants exclusivity from Seo-In and technically has no right to demand it but also is still maintaining some emotional distance from the ML to protect himself(a valid choice given his POV of their past).
In a way, Seo-In is probably more pathetic. His fear of his loved ones pulling makes him push boundaries with the MC and is also what's misleading others. But i do think that once the air between them is cleared, he has the potential to be a decent green flag.
is this even necessary?? we don't need a whole season of Ido abusing him and driving him to suicide...
My heart is literally breaking for him!! I'm so tired of watching him suffer and get badgered and mistreated by literally everyone. I hope that disgusting piece of shit he calls father catches a terminal illness and dies slowly and painfully!! and I hope Ido keeps suffering! his fuckass is no better in the present time imo. Free the MC!
let's be honest, he doesn't regret shit!! he knew exactly what the was doing and enjoyed his own sick behavior until he got caught! like he said himself he never considered mc's feelings. He's only sorry now cuz he got caught. His apology doesn't mean shit and MC is an idiot for forgiving him so easily.. pissing me off!

this forced "happy ending" is so damn goofy lol shit was so ass. talk about an irredeemable POS! Good riddance ig. glad its over
