The first chapters of S1 sort of threw me off because I couldn't really understand how they got together in the first place, what connected them, etc, but the last chapters of S1 were REALLY good. I'm ngl, sometimes the sex scenes distracted from the plot rather than assisting it and I think the fact that they dwindled down in the latter chapters contributed to why I found the story to be getting so much better. This author definitely has a good hold on psychological horror (as seen from their other work 'Efforts never betray,' which was amazing btw), so when they started leaning into it...MAN, this comic really snapped into place! Hope the author keeps it up in season 2!

I can't get *too* angry at the older many-ears. Staying under the radar has been how they've survived for generation. They think it's genuinely dangerous for them to stand out, so it makes sense that they would be unsettled. To them, Iruma's lessons are setting them up for failure, and maybe even death. They would be left "helpless" in the real world, and they would stray away from "crucial" survival techniques. They wanted protection for their children, not more danger down the road! It's not that they just hate change, it's that they have been taught that this SPECIFIC change would be life-threatening. （￣へ￣）
He's simple-minded. Taesook mainly cares about doing the things he wants and lets his impulses guide him. Unfortunately, he considers girls to be entertainment/objects of lust to satisfy some of those impulses. He tends to pursue fun and interesting things, and Kang Hyomin is fun to hang around. Part of why he seems to treat Gaeul (no makeup) as more of a person is because she's proven herself to have depth by falling into that category. Not only that, but since she's just a "four-eyes" she can't be considered an object of lust. This is the only reason a friendship between the two is possible.
The end of chapter 24 was way too elaborate! He works so hard to torture Iltak and project his jealousy onto him! He carried it out like he was doing a circus trick! Σ( ￣□￣||)
I think the guy in Iltak's flashback (the one who confessed to him and ended up getting bullied by him) is actually the orange-haired guy. It makes perfect sense and would explain his fixation on messing with Iltak. I can almost TASTE this reveal, bro! (￣￢￣)
Candy is completely right about how horrible the idol industry is, and it's really sick that they're still treating her like a product even when she's doing a suicide live. But here's the thing– she's upset that her image has been ruined when she intended for the same thing to happen to Yohan. She's saying how unfair it is when she worked so hard, but SHE didn't care about that when he was on the chopping block. It's incredibly hard to have empathy for her when you know for a fact that she doesn't really care about any of the issues she's talking about, only the effect they have on HER. ( ・－・)
She's putting an unhealthy amount of expectations on the girl she likes, expecting her to be "perfect." She doesn't care about our MC, she only wants her to be who she thinks she should be. She doesn't care to know about her unflattering sides and actively denies them, yet she has the nerve to be upset when their relationship is shallow. She genuinely acts like MC exists just to be her pure little rabbit, so if you ask me she doesn't DESERVE her attention. I don't feel even slightly bad for her. I can already see where things are going, too. MC didn't fulfill her expectations so now she's going to latch onto this new girl. You CANNOT wear a person out like this and then wanna act shocked when they're no longer in the best condition.（￣へ￣）
