I don't think she is invested in any of this emotionally, she is really cold so she thinks of them as just characters not related to her. Besides she had to do It sooner or later because of the mission

I don't know how to describe her exactly but she just seems strong emotionally, very level headed, I don't see any weird motives even If we consider what she is doing a bit wrong. That's why I can only conclude that she is not that emotionally involved, at least she may try to not be involved, we only see glimpses of her kind nature from time to time
