I feel so bless for this new update, I was reading a China rip off of solo level, The Blade of Evolution-Walking Alone in the Dungeon. It was so disappointing. THEN BLESS THE GODS AND THE TRANSLATION TEAM FOR THIS CHAPTER. It may be the most anxiety inducing chapter but it is still AMAZING
Whoever wrote this China copy of solo leveling is not doing the artist justice. The artists for this story is AMAZING but the story is a watered down low quality China crap. Solo leveling has so many good story telling pointers but they only copied the most basic points. The premise is so good too, having an underdog rising up. However, they did it so badly I'm fucking amazed. This ain't a student project but a professionally done work(supposedly). For an underdog to grow u need time and effort. There is none here.
He just got a good sword, waited for his friends to die, did his best for 5 secs and managed to kill the boss that took no effort killing his other 10 teammates, then become a hikkimori until he's hungry. Then found out he has this system.
He wasn't even surprise by his new found strength???
Omg and the fact that the dialogue w the art is so chunnibyou I'm cringing to the other universe. I don't blame the translator (y'all shd be a protected species for blessing us w mangs) cuz the main character is wallowing in self pity and at the same time thinking he's so different cuz he is unfortunate. Like that's suuuchh a boring character and cringey too.
Unless they're whole purpose is to target young teens, then mayyybe just maybe it would work.
I don't normally "review" a manga but this left me w cringe every chapter I had to let it out.
