totally agree but have you seen the anime?? it's like dying inside, specially when Mafuyu sings for the first time </3

my expectations were waaaaaaaaay too high for the anime to even get close but I really enjoyed it, I think they did a good job and OMG MAFUYU'S SONG I cried like a bitch

Luckily enough i didn't have any expectations since i read the manga after watching the first anime's chapter but i must admit some of the character's expressions, reactions, etc were far better in the manga but still i could notice the effort they put in making the anime, it was a great job.
I also cried like a bitch in Mafuyu's song and still can´t get over it. It kept playing in my mind for a week ╥﹏╥

His fathers hair is originally blond since he was a kid and he isn't the owner of mononokean. the master of mononokean was Aoi. Ashiya Sakae is still a mystery it is not yet confirmed that he is an employee of mononokean or maybe just a friend.

The golden eyes and hair is also still a mystery though. both Hanaes mom and the spider said that they look alike just because of the golden hair. (●'◡'●)ﾉ

Heyyyy this actually makes sense somehow. The hair and eyes golden when something happened? Like if someone got connected to the mononokean or the youkai world. Maybe they got infected outside of the princess barrier or something.

but didn't both if them already had golden eyes and hair even way beforr they met Aoi/mononokean and even before they got to know and been to the youkai world?

and they are human too and as said ib the stories, no human resides within the youkai world except for Abeno the master of mononokean. but even if he's the master, he still doesnt live there. he's just allowed to roam around.

Unless you're implying that Sakae and Abeno are not originally from the human world. but then again, Sakae had his parents while abeno is the one who is orphaned. but in both cases, they lived in the human world.

or maybe, one of their parents is human and the other is youkai and thus the child is human but has spiritual power. and that the youkai parent decided to live in the human world because they can no longer live in the youkai world since they have a child. or that they were banished for having a child with human. or that the human parent had an affair with a youkai, the youkai got the human preggy but the youkai didn't know they had a child and is out of the scene XDD

I actually think that Abeno and Sakae are somehow related. Abeno is an orphan and Sakae’s origin is still a mystery. Once we get to know that everything will make sense.

And one of the mysteries is yet to be answered. The heart thing that Aoi last drew on their book of records. And they said they watch a cat die, but so far as I know. Aoi represents the cat... What if... Aoi actually died and Sakae became a yokai? I don’t knowwww, I’m so confused and I love it hahahaha

the blonde/gold thing might be related to the fact that the Ashiya and Abeno families in japanese lore were powerful/famous people with powers to exorcise and see yokai (onmyoji). (Think Abe no Seimei and Ashiya Douman, either one of them appear in like 90% of yokai anime, usually Seimei appears.)

Abeno and Ashiya Sakae both might be direct descendants while hanae's mom might either be from a branch family or not related at all.
