Natsume-sensei makes couples act like actual couples. They have weird quirks, bored moments, menial convos, but also express love, care and concern genuinely. I think a lot of other manga lack this aspect. Only some manga present this well. Many couples in other yaoi still act like complete strangers to each other.

Instead I don't think that gay couples (as well as straight couples) would act like that in reality. The stories of natsume isaku, like most of yaoi, are very romanticized and make everything look sunshine and rainbows, as if they were perfect couples even in difficult times and despite them. Maybe what you meant to say is that they behave like idealized couples inserted in a reality context, but the actual reality is very different from that xD

No I think you misunderstood. These couples act like actual couples because they work well together despite their quirks. That's what the OP meant. All couples have their quirks but most of them don't work as well together. I personally don't think this has anything to do with communication, either. This is just adapting and adjusting as required to the needs of your partner. I absolutely adore Izumi and Haruto but Jin and Momo are hilarious too.

This story had so much potential, especially with the whole reincarnation plot. But i feel like the story didnt get to develop as much.
The second story was even more disappointing. Mamoru looked so sweet and Eika looked so cool, they acted as opposites. Instead, it was fetish fetish fetish rape rape rape. Then child birth.
Meh for me.

That was some apex predation shit right there.
Prince Ryan opens the door like some James bond villain and just catches his prey so casually, and smirking like he knew all along. Then the comic panel zooms in on the door closing like in horror movies... and then...
And then we drink holy water because we're not too strong for that latest chapter. Woah.
They're ALL victims of circumstance.
Saeno hated being an omega and was raped after making a mistake anyone could make. It wasn't his fault for what happened. He loved his brother and blamed himself for taking away his brother's chance of love. He had a kid early. I'm glad he eventually found happiness in his child, but sad that he died young and unable to meet his brother one last time.
Yuuma also wasn't able to control himself. That's the downside of ABO dynamics. He had a promising future ahead of him but he had to work right after high school to support the family. He loved Hirono but their circumstances were tough.
Hirono is not some villain here, come on now. Yes, he left, but he also hated what happened. It's more than just about his love for Yuuma, it was his love for Saeno too! It was emphasized when he was young that he wanted to protect saeno. When he found out about his brother, he felt like he failed. And told Yumma that he was Saeno's protector now. It wasn't like Hirono up and left right after. He and yuuma still graduated together. But during that time, he saw that Yuuma and saeno were already moving on, getting jobs and acting towards their current situation. Hirono no longer had as sturdy a place in their lives. He felt like leaving is the only thing he could do to get on with his life.
If Hirono had stayed, he would still be a third person in the little family Yuuma and saeno have. The two eventually found happiness in their fanily, so why are people condemning Hirono for trying to find happiness again by leaving?
Shit happens. Terrible events happen in life and sometimes, there is no right answer. And no one has to be blamed for them. All three of them were just trying to make the best out of their lives, especially with the circumstance they were in. That's life.
